I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Southeast Pennsylvania. I studied physics for two years at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute before finishing my bachelor's degree in meteorology from Penn State. I joined the van den Heever group in Fall 2021. I'm currently a Master's student using the RAMS numerical model and a single-column microphysics model to investigate the growth and radiative behavior of ice crystals in convective anvils. In my spare time, I like hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, science fiction, and swing dancing.
