Flight Description: Flight to the Sulu Sea to sample convection to the east of Palawan; the convection started out as reasonably weak and then quickly strengthened. After sampling this convection, Palawan was crossed to sample an altocu layer that the P-3 likely mixed out on the way back. Flight Scientist: Jay Mace
